Perfect fit and function, This however was not my ice making problem. Before ... Perfect fit and function, This however was not my ice making problem. Before replacing good parts, Run the diagnostic tests present in your refrigerator. This style ice maker rarely fails, The wiring controlling the ice maker was broken within its insulation at the bottom hinge of the freezer door. A difficult diagnosis. I had to replace the ice maker assembly because I took my old one apart and couldn't reassemble it properly. Check the wires where they bend at the bottom door hinge first.
