As good as the original OEM product.
I don't have much experience with fan motors, but I have replaced at least one in all my years. My old OEM fan motor stopped working and expectantly. When they go you usually start to hear noise on start up. I needed a replacement and fast. The closest parts store that had what I needed was a two hour drive away and $ 56.00 for the motor. No matter which option I choose of mail order or drive time, my food was already defrosting and needed to be transfered some place else. I didn't have 4 hours lead way. This fan was $ 15.46 including shipping to my home. So what the heck the food is protected for now, I'll take a chance. The motor was an exact fit into the plastic bracket. About the only thing I don't know right now is the longevity of this motor. So shortly after I installed the first motor. I ordered a second motor from the same people just to have another on hand as a "just in case' replacement. As I see it. The price for the 2 motors is still cheaper then 1 original factory OEM replacement and I now have insurance that my Fridge which is now 12 years old does not have to worry about a mechanical part being discontinued NOR WOULD I have to play " Frankenstein " by some how making a Universal motor fit in the rubber mounted plastic bracket.
