I considered induction cooking from all the T.V. commercials from Nu-Wave, but I didn't want to go into it without first finding out if I liked Induction cooking as I have always had gas. I tried electric once and did not like it at all, if you had something boil over you could not turn the temp down so that you could clean the cooking surface. With Induction it's so simple, 1. the cooktop only gets hot where the pan is in contact with the cooktop. 2. The minute you remove the pan the "burner" shuts off so clean-up is a breeze, you can even clean around the pan if it's only a smallspill and you have turned the temp down as it cools down as soon as you change it, now don't get me wrong the top is still semi-hot, but not like a gas grate, or an electric top. All I can say is if you are considering Induction, get the Nu-Wave single cooktop first & try it, It's only about 80.00 compaired to 900.00 to 3000.00 like a full cooktop. Really I could go on forever I think it's the greatest thing since peanut butter & jelly.Read full review

Terrific cooktop. This is our second induction cooktop of exactly the same type and model. Switched out a brand new Wolf to put this in.
