This pump is OEM and is identical to the original pump. It turns out a common problem on LG washers is the PCB Board malfunctions. This often is the reason the pump won't activate and you receive the OE error code. Try removing the pump and connecting electricity directly to it, or use a multi-meter to check voltage (while connected) during a drain cycle. You should see constant 120V if the PCB Board is functioning. If you get OL or no voltage the problem is the board.
