Washing machine restored to factory new condition.
Component restored washing machine to proper operation. Easy installation. Machine now goes through all cycles properly.

Part has a design flaw.
The part has a design flaw which cause the cam follower pin to break when the lever reaches the nearest point to the synchronus motor. The lever binds on the motor shaft bushing edge and the plastic pin then snaps off resulting in failure of the part. The new part broke after about 3 loads of wash. I took the new broken part, drilled out a hole in the shift lever at the broken cam follower pin position and JB Weld was used to glue in a metal pin that won't break where the plastic pin failed. The shift lever strikes the motor bushing at the nearest pass so I reinforced the lever and beveled it so that the lever does not strike the bushing abruptly. We are now able to wash clothes. This is apparently a problem even with the manufacturers original part which failed, but now I know the cause. ...
