Only lasted 14 months
This element looks ok and seems to have decent construction. I chose it since it was most similar to the OEM element in construction. It is heavier overall than some of the other chinese replacements. Mine only lasted about 14 months. I have a clean machine, clear dryer exhaust with only about 18" of duct direct through a sidewall (no elbows). Never had any thermal limit issues from overheating. I can't see any reason for this failure except poor element quality. Original lasted 15+ years. This element looks ok and seems to have decent construction.
